JOB GOAL: To efficiently and successfully execute all technical procedures required to establish and maintain all data pertaining to scheduling, grade reporting, and the academic progress and matriculation of every student in the school.
To collaborate with the school's Leadership Team to design and implement an effective master schedule (e.
g.
course selections, sections, and teachers) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of courses that meet the district’s requirements and undergird the mission of the Dr.
Marian G.
Lacey K-8 Academy.
SUMMARY: The vision of the Dr.
Marian G.
Lacey K-8 Academy is to leverage support from families and community stakeholders to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences to grow and equip leaders who will shape and impact the world in positive ways within and beyond the walls of our school.
Lacey Academy seeks to provide a rigorous, structured academic setting where leaders learn and learners lead.

Marian G.
Lacey K-8 Academy will serve as a beacon to stakeholders and an avenue to addressing trauma, promoting wellbeing, and elevating learning for all.
This will be done through giving deliberate intention to implementing school-wide systems that embody mastery-based learning opportunities, a growth-based educational approach, and strength-based instruction in every classroom.
Learners will engage in high levels of hands-on experiences, real world investigations, and applied literacy and mathematics learning.
Students at Lacey will have opportunities to engage in structured science, technology, reading/writing, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STREAM) experiences from kindergarten through eighth grade, building a strong cohort of leaders who possess 21st Century skills for collaborative problem-solving, technological literacy, and career-readiness.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Participate and successfully complete the required on-boarding and professional development boot-camp beginning July, 2024 and continuing throughout the school year, both on and off contract.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Eleven one-half (11.
5) Month Position, (230 days) contract plus benefits package - Pay 715 – Range 02 $24,408 - $43,032 FLSA: Non-Exempt NOTE: Precise placement on the salary range will be determined by experience.
Salary Range: $ QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree or 60 college hours preferred.
Minimum of high school diploma required.
Skills are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
Satisfactory completion of district student database training (eSchoolPlus) required after hire.
Proper English usage, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.
Positive public relations skills, dependable and flexible in performing duties.
Satisfactory computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office products.
Effective and efficient problem-solving.
Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to record-keeping procedures; experience with school academic records and procedures preferred.

Supports the vision and mission of Dr.

Lacey K-8 Academy by working collaboratively with the administration and ALL staff to create a positive, safe and learner-centered environment.
Demonstrates strong work ethics, a passion for creativity and always open minded to new and innovative ideas.
Execute the technical procedures required to competently operate a district-wide computer system and assist the staff in performing duties required in the input/output of student data.
Input and maintain complete course listings and other data required for the course selection process, complete course catalogue, and maintain accurate roster of teachers.
Enter and/or assist with entering course requests using eSchoolPlus.
Process all student schedules.
Collect, input, verify and process all grades for each student, distribute all grading cards, reports, and records.
Input computerized master schedule and oversee processing; make necessary adjustments until scheduling is completed.
Prepare, record, and maintain an accurate record of all student transactions for each student on a Permanent Record Folder (PRF or transcripts).
Establish and maintain storage of Permanent Record Folder (PRF or transcripts) and other academic records at local school.
Maintain current knowledge of all federal and state laws, and LRSD policies pertaining to school academic records and procedures Prepare, process and distribute various computer generated reports and data when requested.
Provide support in the planning and preparation of various school-based ceremonies and recognition celebrations.
Perform grade maintenance activities including, but not limited to: inputting and maintaining transcript history; inputting summer school, credit recovery and correspondence grades in transcript history; maintaining an updated list of and identifying students who are at risk for deficiency; and calculating cumulative GPAs and rank students.
Complete end of the year procedures prior to rollover.
Work with both solid-line and dotted-line supervisors in planning and implementing work and carrying out duties and responsibilities.
