Duties:
Reporting to the Community Manager, the Leasing Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Meeting with prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and all community guests.
Serving as the primary first impression for all visitors to our Leasing Office.
Ensuring the rental of apartment units to maintain maximum occupancy and high renewal rates.
Coordinating move-ins, move-outs, lease negotiations, renewals, and apartment showings.
Ensuring accurate completion of paperwork for current and prospective tenants.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of leasing experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Proficient in basic office tasks (e.
g.
, typing, filing, scanning, faxing, answering telephones).
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to work some overtime if required to complete job duties.
Proficiency in standard office administration, equipment use, and MS Office software is advantageous.
Must be willing to work weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of performing the physical functions of the position, including walking the property (including multiple flights of stairs) for physical inspections, delivering resident communications, and showing apartments.
