Responsibilities:
Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklist.
Inform site manager of needed services and repairs.
Restore apartments to “make ready “status.
Coordinate status of make readies with office staff.
Ensure adequate number of make ready units are available in a timely manner and are up to company standards.
Document work performed on service request and completed all make ready move in check list.
Maintain shop appearance and inventory to standards to facilitate quick assessment of supplies.
Assist in work order request.
Inspect exterior of the property.
Perform building and common area upkeep on a daily basis.
Keep grounds neat and free of litter.
Perform effective emergency maintenance (after hours) as required.
*Tools:* Must provide own basic tools or be willing to obtain the required hand tools (see "Minimum Required Hand Tools” list).
Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following:
· Hand tools: Various wrenches, screwdrivers, grips, snips, etc.
· Power Tools: Wrenches, grinder, sander, drill, saws, etc.
· Measuring Devices: Voltmeters, ohmmeters, testing meters, PH tests, etc.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License - Experience in maintenance or a related field
- Proof that you can legally be employed in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in reading and the ability to work well with other's and our community
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with internal staff and external vendors
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
